The Roest family’s backyard vision came to life with a freeform pool and raised round spa designed for both style and relaxation. The pool begins with a shallow tanning ledge and gradually transitions into deeper water, offering plenty of space for lounging or swimming. A natural stone coping ties the pool and spa together, while the raised spa’s tiered spillway creates a soothing cascade into the pool.
Material selections added charm and personality to the design. The Roest family chose light-blue tile that gives the water a crisp, refreshing glow, complemented by Tahoe Blue Stonescapes plaster and diamond-pattern toe tiles along the waterline. Their coping combines gray and brown undertones with unique natural patterns, enhancing the organic feel of the entire setup. Swim-up bar stools were also incorporated, providing a fun and functional feature for entertaining.
To complete the look, light-colored concrete decking was installed for both comfort and safety, as it stays cool and slip-resistant underfoot. The generous deck space allows for future additions like lounge seating or an outdoor kitchen, making the pool the centerpiece for gatherings and family enjoyment. This backyard oasis perfectly blends relaxation, elegance, and everyday functionality.
